Inhabitants of Dengolo reiterate readiness to step up efforts to conserve soil and water

The inhabitants of Dengolo Laelai and Tahtai, Ginda sub-zone, reiterated readiness to step up efforts to conserve soil and water. Dengolo, 19 August 2011 – The inhabitants of Dengolo Laelai and Tahtai, Ginda sub-zone, reiterated readiness to step up efforts to conserve soil and water.

Explaining that previous endeavors in soil and water conservation have borne satisfactory outcome, they said that they would continue carrying out campaign in an organized manner. Presently, they are engaged in building terraces and embankments, among others.

The Administrator of Dengolo, Mr. Goitom Gebrenkiel, commended the initiative taken by the inhabitants, and called on them to enhance their activities.
