Qamchewa, 20 August 2011 – The infrastructure and service rendering institutions put in place in Qamchewa administrative areas are playing vital role in the development drive, thus contributing to improvement of the living standard of the inhabitants.

The inhabitants said that, a health center, school, potable water supply and other service-rendering institutions among others, have already been put in place.

Mr. Edris Afa Mohammed, one of the local inhabitants, noted that the emphasis which the Government is giving to developing remote areas is commendable. Likewise, Mr. Ahmed Ali Hassen and Mr. Edris Mohammed said that they have now overcome the previously prevailing nomadic pattern of lifestyle.
