Southern region inhabitants announce food security

Inhabitants of the southern region announced that they have been able to meet demands on food supply of the entire region owing to the unremitting efforts they exerted in using the previous year’s harvest wisely and utilization of irrigation farming.
Mendefera, 21 August 2011- Inhabitants of the southern region announced that they have been able to meet demands on food supply of the entire region owing to the unremitting efforts they exerted in using the previous year’s harvest wisely and utilization of irrigation farming.

The inhabitants from different corners of the region agreed that they would never expect food aid and that their endeavors will be untiring to ensure yet again rewarding harvest.

Furthermore, the inhabitants noted that all the achievements registered in the agriculture sector are results of the government and the people’s relentless work and called on the concerned bodies to keep on working on dams and other related facilities.
