Inhabitants of Halib-Mentel extend assistance to families of fallen heroes

The inhabitants of Halib-Mentel administrative area have carried out campaign for assisting martyrs’ families, disclosed Mr. Bahta Yemane, in charge of the administration in the area. Elaberid, 23 August 2011 – The inhabitants of Halib-Mentel administrative area have carried out campaign for assisting martyrs’ families, disclosed Mr. Bahta Yemane, in charge of the administration in the area.
He said that the inhabitants have built terraces and embankments around farmlands of 38 families of fallen heroes, in addition to renovating over 9 Km-long road from Halib-Mentel to Edirba.

The local inhabitants voiced determination to continue developmental efforts in an enhanced manner. Meanwhile, they are carrying out agricultural activities in Elaberid sub-zone towards achieving food security.
