Water supply project finalized in Senafe sub-zone

A water supply project that can serve 7 villages in Senafe sub-zone has been finalized at a cost of more than 4 million Nakfa. The Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Bereket Tekeste, said that the project would render service to Serha, Embabdhan, Kokobai, Maitsaeda, Embahsia, Tsaadakorso and Gubo villages.
Senafe, 23 August 2011 – A water supply project that can serve 7 villages in Senafe sub-zone has been finalized at a cost of more than 4 million Nakfa. The Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Bereket Tekeste, said that the project would render service to Serha, Embabdhan, Kokobai, Maitsaeda, Embahsia, Tsaadakorso and Gubo villages.

He further stated that two elementary and a secondary schools are under construction in Mezba and Mirara so as to address shortage of schools in Senafe sub-zone, and that the construction of these schools are expected to make due contribution in raising the number of students. He pointed out that the task accomplished to renovate service-rendering institutions at an expenditure of about 23 million Nakfa has enabled the inhabitants to improve their living standard.

Reports indicated that there are 52 schools in Senafe sub-zone.
