Crops and sesames planted in various administrative areas of Mogolo sub-zone are in good condition, stated Mr. Woldeyesus Tekie, head of the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub-zone.
Mogolo, 27 August 2011 – Crops and sesames planted in various administrative areas of Mogolo sub-zone are in good condition, stated Mr. Woldeyesus Tekie, head of the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub-zone.
He explained that about 7,900 hectares in Mogolo have been put under cultivation through both modern and traditional farming methods.
Mr. Woldeyesus further said that the farmers made use of select seeds which they stored last year, and that they are in satisfactory condition.
