Felket Health Station plays key role in alleviating mother and child mortality

The health station in Felket, Northern Red Sea region is playing a significant role in alleviating mortality rates related with maternity and infants, women from the area disclosed. Felket, 28 August 2011- The health station in Felket, Northern Red Sea region is playing a significant role in alleviating mortality rates related with maternity and infants, women from the area disclosed.

Noting that infant and mother mortality rates in the area was higher because of the transportation and facility shortages encountered in the area, the women expressed their happiness for the government’s focus in providing fully equipped health infrastructure in the area.

Head of the health station, Mr. Tsehaye Yosef on his part indicated that the health station provides services to four administrative distracts and that additional agitation campaigns are sent to the public in connection with malaria and other related diseases.
