Planting trees in progress in Asmara

The central region department of forestry in the Ministry of Agriculture disclosed that intensive tree planting activities are in progress in the streets of Asmara. Asmara, 4 September 2011- The central region department of forestry in the Ministry of Agriculture disclosed that intensive tree planting activities are in progress in the streets of Asmara.

Head of the department, Mr. Kidane Tekle indicated that 13 administrative districts are taking active part in the campaign and that 80% of the program has been finalized.

Mr. Kidane went on to say that the program will be reinforced further and new activities have been set out for the year to come.
