Newly introduced methods of treating child diseases bear fruitful outcome

The newly introduced methods of treating different types of child diseases is bearing fruitful outcome, stated Ms. Saba Fisehaye, head of coordinated child disease treatment and basic health care in the Health Ministry branch office of Central region.

Asmara, 8 September 2011 – The newly introduced methods of treating different types of child diseases is bearing fruitful outcome, stated Ms. Saba Fisehaye, head of coordinated child disease treatment and basic health care in the Health Ministry branch office of Central region.

She said that extensive vaccination program is being carried out and that a number of diseases have either been put under control or eradicated. As a result mortality rate has declined considerably in addition to the enhancement of public awareness regarding child care, Ms. Saba added. She further called on mothers to resort to medical treatment, especially during pre-and post-delivery period.
