Inhabitants of Barentu sub-zone called upon to make proper use of rangeland and ponds

The Administrator of Barentru sub-zone,  Mr. Franco Kubaba, called on the inhabitants of the sub-zone to make proper use of the rangeland and ponds . Barentu, 9 September 2011 – The Administrator of Barentru sub-zone,  Mr. Franco Kubaba, called on the inhabitants of the sub-zone to make proper use of the rangeland and ponds .

He pointed out that crops in the sub-zone are in good condition, and the 22 ponds have impounded sufficient amount of water which in turn enabled livestock to obtain adequate amount of water.

Explaining that a number of small and major projects have been implemented in Barentu, Mr. Franco stressed the need for the farmers to step up endeavors until crop harvesting.
