Patriarch of the Eritrean Orthodox Church offers blessings on the Ge’ez New Year

His Holiness, Abune Deskerios, IV patriarch of the Eritrean Orthodox Church offered his blessings on the Ge’ez New Year. Asmara, 11 September 2011 – His Holiness, Abune Deskerios, IV patriarch of the Eritrean Orthodox Church offered his blessings on the Ge’ez New Year.

His Holiness in his message wished a good transition to all the followers of the Christian religion, and reminded the people to maintain the noble Eritrean generosity to offer the needy on this special holiday.

Furthermore, His Holiness Abune Deskerios gave his fatherly advice to the Eritrean people to work resourcefully and reap the fruit of their hard work.

Abune Deskerios finally wished a year of peace and stability to all the people, strength to the valiant young Eritreans employed in the country’s development programs as well as health to the sick.
