Geez New year celebrated colorfully

Geez New year was today colorfully celebrated nationwide. Celebration took place earlier in the day at Hager Media Hall within the premises of the Ministry of Information in which invited guests participated, the police and Soyira musical troupes presented performances.
Asmara, 12 September 2011 – Geez New year was today colorfully celebrated nationwide. Celebration took place earlier in the day at Hager Media Hall within the premises of the Ministry of Information in which invited guests participated, the police and Soyira musical troupes presented performances.

Similarly, the event was celebrated at the Akriya Administrative area in cooperation with the Ministry of Information. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hiskyas Wihbet, the administrator of the area said that celebrating holidays together is the culture that reflects the unity of the Eritrean people. He further pointed out that the Eritrean people are known for their unity, a weapon that enabled them to foil enemy conspiracies.
