Barentu sub-zone: City Council calls on parent to back up endeavors to enhance student participation in school

The Barentu City Council called on parents to enhance their role towards strengthening students participation in school.
Barentu, 16 September 2011- The Barentu City Council called on parents to enhance their role towards strengthening students participation in school.

In a meeting held with parents, Administrators, religious leaders and village elders, the chairman of the City Council, Mr. Gebremicheal Habteselasie, stated that delays during the beginning of the school year have negative impact, and called on parents to send their children to school at the right time. He also explained plans have been drawn to strengthen the teaching-learning process in the region.
