Barentu sub-zone: Health center providing efficient services

Barentu sub-zone health center is providing efficient health services to the inhabitants of the sub-zone, head of the health center, Mr. Sultan Beyene reported. Barentu, 18 September 2011- Barentu sub-zone health center is providing efficient health services to the inhabitants of the sub-zone, head of the health center, Mr. Sultan Beyene reported.

According to the reports, the health center provides general health services, pre and post maternity check ups as well as family planning, while village level health experts have been trained to provide community based health services.

One of the physicians from the center, Mr. Negash Ibrahim, said that children can be vulnerable to various health problems unless they get the needed health follow ups and reminded the parents to take their children to the health centers periodically.
