Religious leaders underline the moral responsibility of all nationals to donate blood

Religious leader of the Eritrean Coptic Orthodox Church pointed out that blood donation is a moral duty of every national. Asmara, 18 September 2011- Religious leader of the Eritrean Coptic Orthodox Church pointed out that blood donation is a moral duty of every national.

After voluntarily donating blood, the religious leaders indicated that they took the initiative to save Eritrean lives that could have been lost from lack of blood.

Priest Samuel Tsegai noted that the campaigns launched by the Eritrean Blood Bank should be supported so long as they are meant to save lives and that donating blood is a blessed deed to protect ones own life.

All the priests also agreed that they felt moral satisfaction after donating and affirmed that they will continue the donation time and again.
