The Eritrean Doctors Association held its 17th Congress at the Municipality Hall of the Administration of the Central region.
Asmara, 19 September 2011 – The Eritrean Doctors Association held its 17th Congress at the Municipality Hall of the Administration of the Central region.
Speaking at the opening of the session, the Chairperson of the Association, Dr. Bereket Sibhatu, pointed out that evaluating past accomplishments is vital for effective implementation of future work programs. He also said that the association would make relentless efforts to create conducive ground for staff members to exchange scientific medical information, reinforce effective work and address shortcomings. Dr. Bereket further explained that newly graduated doctors are making due contribution in strengthening the association.
A number of study papers were presented at the Congress and the participants conducted extensive discussion.
The Association elected an executive body that would serve for two years.
