Crops in Agordat sub-zone in good condition

Farmers in Agrodat sub-zone said that the crop plantations in the sub-zone are in good condition. The farmers explained that they have plowed their farm plots using tractors and traditional methods on time, despite delay in this year’s rainy season. Both, Mr. Idris Mohammed and Mr. Idris Saleh, farmers in the sub-zone, said that the rainfall which began on August is continuing in a regular manner and as a result, crops have reached reaping stage.

EDF Members who are currently engaged in assisting needy families said that they are taking active role in agricultural activities, constructing and renovating houses and the like.
