Tourists highly appraise prevailing peace and development stride in Eritrea

Foreign tourists highly appraised the prevailing peace in Eritrea and the progress it is registering. The tourists explained that they are keen to visit the country again impressed with the prevailing peace and stability. Asmara, 23 September 2011 – Foreign tourists highly appraised the prevailing peace in Eritrea and the progress it is registering. Dr. Ulluf Bawl from Germany, who visited Eritrea in 2005, stated that he has witnessed major development achievements since his first visit, and expressed conviction that the investment being made in human resource development and infrastructure facilities makes Eritrea one of the competitive countries.

Dr. Serfine Lindeman from Germany on her part expressed admiration for the peace and stability she witnessed, in contrast to the distorted information being disseminated by some media outlets. Dr. Lindeman also said that she visited Massawa, Mendefera, Keren and Asmara, during which she observed the stable life of the residents.

Similarly, a Chinese tourist, Mr. Jackson Lie, said that he has visited several African countries where he did not move freely.  But in Eritrea, he said that he was able to move from place to place freely.  Moreover, Mr. Jackson Lie expressed deep impression with the hospitality and open mindedness of the Eritrean society.
