Administrator calls on farmers to step up endeavors regarding crop harvesting

The Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Musa Raba’a, called on farmers to step up endeavors regarding crop harvesting. Barentu, 24 September 2011- The Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Musa Raba’a, called on farmers to step up endeavors regarding crop harvesting.

In the course of a visit to a number of Administrative areas, the Administrator said that this year’s rainfall distribution has been bountiful, and that crops in the region are in good condition. He further reminded farmers to protect their respective farms from birds and pests until harvest time.

Mr. Musa Raba’a said that the Government has allocated the necessary budget so as to enable the local inhabitants benefit from the resources in the region.
