Public awareness in law assessed necessary

Office of the prosecutor, Anseba regional branch disclosed that the general public’s awareness of law especially in the youths is vital in controlling crimes. Keren, 25 September 2011- Office of the prosecutor, Anseba regional branch disclosed that the general public’s awareness of law especially in the youths is vital in controlling crimes.

Head of the office, Mr. Amanuel Tesfay noted that the prosecutor’s task is to represent the public and government in defending cases, to make sure just verdicts are made, and investigation of crimes.

Furthermore, Mr. Tesfay added that the crimes in the region have been minimized owing to the public’s rising awareness on the rule of law.
