Northern Red Sea region: Ministry offers training to over 90 health personnel

The Ministry of Health has offered training in the port city of Massawa to a total of 90 health personnel in the Northern Red Sea region regarding the newly introduced treatment and familiarization about diseases.

Massawa, 28 September 2011 – The Ministry of Health has offered training in the port city of Massawa to a total of 90 health personnel in the Northern Red Sea region regarding the newly introduced treatment and familiarization about diseases.

The head of Administration at the branch office of the Ministry in the region, Mr. Michael Mesfun, said that the training is  in line with endeavors to develop the capacity of staff members. He added that the participants of the training were from five administrative areas and selected from the port Administration,  immigration, airport, customs duty, marine resources and city Administration services.

Mr. Michael further indicated that the training played significant role in creating common understanding among health personnel and other bodies, in addition to enabling them to exchange current information and practical experience.
