Head of the branch office, Mr. Mussa Adem, said that the students’ enrolment grew from 60% to 84%, while the number of schools registered a 35% growth. Mr. Mussa added that the quality of education has also been upgraded showing a significant change in the performance of the students.

Noting that every administrative district in the sub-zone has at least one school, Mr. Mussa indicated that infrastructures have been put in place for new school and many schools were upgraded from elementary to junior level.

The inhabitants on their part said that they would do their level best to utilize the educational facilities provided by the government.
