Inhabitants of Libena Administrative area renovate Keren- Sele’a road

The inhabitants of Libena Administrative area, Hamelmalo sub-zone, have renovated Keren- Sele’a road as part of endeavors to ensure safe transportation service.

Keren, October 4, 2011- The inhabitants of Libena Administrative area, Hamelmalo sub-zone, have renovated Keren- Sele’a road as part of endeavors to ensure safe transportation service.

The inhabitants indicated that with the heavy rainfall in the summer season, the road has been eroded causing difficulty to vehicles. They indicated the cooperation of EDF members in the renovation task.

Mr. Jimi’e Himed, village elder, on his part called on the Ministry of PublicWorks to provide the necessary machinery so that the undertaking may attain the required standard.

The Administrator of Libena administrative Area, Mr. Mattewos Lucas, pointed out that the inhabitants of the region have been actively engaged in various activities involving the  rebuilding of walls, renovation of bridges and roads.
