Training provided to members of Information Ministry

In line with the continued efforts being made to introduce new methods for better work outcome, the Ministry of Information provided training to 21 members in Networking and Server Administration. Asmara, 6 October 2011- In line with the continued efforts being made to introduce new methods for better work outcome, the Ministry of Information provided training to 21 members in Networking and Server Administration.

One of the trainers, Mr. Woldeselasie Hidrai said that the training aimed at introducing coordinated and accountable methods, in addition to enabling beneficiaries obtain easy and better service of the newly introduced network links vis-à-vis the existing network system. He also indicated that the training included introduction of secure and fast network system, as well as reliable information exchange system, introduction of information technology policies, in addition to the prevalence for integrated work instructions and internet connection.

One of the trainees, Eng. Daniel Kiflom stated on his part that the training would make due contribution to attain further progress as regards coordinated work methodology, among others.

Still another trainee, Ms. Zebib Tewolde said that unlike the former practice of computers operating in separate manner, the electronic server would facilitate working in unison. 

The Ministry has already made available enough computers and servers  for the attainment of the aforementioned tasks, reports added.
