Inhabitants of Southern Red Sea region express their readiness to upgrade social services

The inhabitants of four sub-zones in the Southern Red Sea region in a meeting they conducted with the regional Administrator expressed readiness to upgrade the existing service rendering institutions and contribute their level best to complete the remaining ones. Assab, 12 October 2011- The inhabitants of four sub-zones in the Southern Red Sea region in a meeting they conducted with the regional Administrator expressed readiness to upgrade the existing service rendering institutions and contribute their level best to complete the remaining ones.

The Administrator of Southern Red Sea region, Mr. Ali Mahmoud, indicated that basic social services are already in place in most parts of the region, and that the process would continue to complete the remaining ones. He also reminded the inhabitants to make proper use and preserve the existing service-rendering institutions.

The inhabitants on their part noted the vital role of the service-rendering institutions in improving their living standard, and expressed that thanks to the substantial investment by the Government they are able to get health, potable water and education services.

Appreciating the Government’s efforts to ensure social justice in the region, they said that they will work for their development.
