The Eritrean Telecommunications Service in its efforts to expand the provision of telephone services in Afabet sub-zone, has introduced wireless phone service to the town of Afabet, stated Mr. Semere Gebrekidan, head of wireless phone unit.
Afabet, 12 October 2011- The Eritrean Telecommunications Service in its efforts to expand the provision of telephone services in Afabet sub-zone, has introduced wireless phone service to the town of Afabet, stated Mr. Semere Gebrekidan, head of wireless phone unit.
He pointed out that the telephone service has increased from three hours to 24 hours, and such service would be expanded with the ongoing installation of a sophisticated system nation-wide.
One of the residents of Afabet, Mr. Salih Ahmed, expressed appreciation for the development registered by the Telecommunications Service, and called for the speedy introduction of internet and fax services.
Mr. Semere advised that people use the service properly and refrain from unnecessary expenditure.
