Election of village administrators, work directors and unit leaders conducted in Barentu sub-zone

Inhabitants from 13 administrative areas in Barentu sub-zone elected village administrators and work directors. Barentu, 14 October 2011- Inhabitants from 13 administrative areas in Barentu sub-zone elected village administrators and work directors.

Mr. Franco Kubaba, Administrator of the sub-zone, who indicated that the process being a solid foundation of the political establishment in Eritrea, voiced his expectation that those elected would serve the people with dedication.

The number of the elected village administrators and work directors is 26, out of whom 12 are elected for the second term. Reports also indicated that two females were elected as village administrators and one as work director.

Those elected said that they would provide genuine service to the inhabitants.
