Election of Administrators and village seniors in Ferhen sub-zone

The inhabitants of 8 administrative areas in Ferhen, Hamelmalo sub-zone, have elected Administrators, village seniors and work directors.They elected individuals that they believe are responsible and devoted for the welfare of the community. Keren, 15 October 2011- The inhabitants of 8 administrative areas in Ferhen, Hamelmalo sub-zone, have elected Administrators, village seniors and work directors.They elected individuals that they believe are responsible and devoted for the welfare of the community.

Ms. Afyet Omar and Mr. Sied Mohammed from the local inhabitants said that the election was also a process that witnessed gender equality.

Mr. Fitwi Gebremeskel, Acting administrator of Hamelmalo sub-zone said that the inhabitants were called upon to elect devoted persons, and commended female participation in the election.
