Needy students in Keren town secure assistance

Needy students in Keren town expressed gratitude for the material and financial assistance they got from the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch office. They said that they have now been able to continue studies.
Keren, October 18,2011 – Needy students in Keren town expressed gratitude for the material and financial assistance they got from the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch office. They said that they have now been able to continue studies.

The assistance included school materials, money for buying uniforms and annual school payment. Parents of the students also expressed similar appreciations.

Mr. Hagos Teklai, Head of the Ministry’s branch office in Keren explained that around 105 needy students received school materials and around 100 others uniforms and payment for annual school fee.

Similar assistance has also been extended to about 612 needy students in the sub-zones  of Elaberid, Haga, Adi-Tekelezan and Hamelmalo.
