Farmers in Geza-Hamle administrative area, Adi-Quala sub-zone, have begun gathering bumper harvest, according to reports. Adi-Quala, 19 October 2011 –Farmers in Geza-Hamle administrative area, Adi-Quala sub-zone, have begun gathering bumper harvest, according to reports.

Mr. Amberas Ogbaselasie, one of the inhabitants, said that the crop plantations are in good condition, and that micro-dams have impounded sufficient amount of water. As a result, he said that they don’t have any shortage of food and potable water supply.

Mr. Amberas further called on the Ministry of Agriculture to conducted study in advance so as to prevent the prevalence of pests’ witnessed this year affecting millet and sorghum.
