Keren, 20 October 2011- The participation of female students in Anseba region has registered growth, according Mr. Bokretsion Habtemichael, head of the Education Ministry’s branch office in the region.
He explained that the participation of female students in education is on the rise and reminded both teachers and parents to encourage female students pursue education with zeal.
Mr. Bokretsion further indicated that thanks to the efforts made by the people and Government of Eritrea, the expansion of schools in the region has increased by 4.3%.Meanwhile, 5 elementary schools, 6 junior schools and 1 secondary school have begun rendering service this year, and urged teachers to reinforce dedicated service.
There are 76 kindergartens, 137 elementary schools, 57 junior schools and 12 secondary schools in the Anseba region.
