Administrator commends dedication being demonstrated as regards finalization of Kohaito-Foro route

The Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsigereda Woldegergis, commended the dedication being demonstrated by the members of Bidho Construction Company and the public to finalize the construction of the Kohaito-Foro route. She made the statement during a visit to the site of the project.

Massawa, 21 October 2011 – The Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsigereda Woldegergis, commended the dedication being demonstrated by the members of Bidho Construction Company and the public to finalize the construction of the Kohaito-Foro route. She made the statement during a visit to the site of the project.

In a meeting she conducted with representatives of Adi-Omar Kebre, the Administrator explained that the construction of the road would facilitate expansion of social service institutions, and called on the general public to preserve trees.

The head of the project, Mr. Fitwi Zerai, on his part indicated that the remaining 10% of the construction process would be finalized by mid-2012.

The construction of the 115 Km-long Kohaito-Foro strategic road got underway in 2006 and connects Southern and the Northern Red Sea regions.
