Construction of water project in Adi-Maelel expected to alleviate problem of potable water supply

The inhabitants of Adi-Maelel administrative area, Shambuko sub-zone, expressed conviction that the construction of a water project in their locality would alleviate the previously encountered potable water supply problem.

Shambuko, 21 October 2011 – The inhabitants of Adi-Maelel administrative area, Shambuko sub-zone, expressed conviction that the construction of a water project in their locality would alleviate the previously encountered potable water supply problem.

They told Erina that the construction of the project would relieve women in particular from travelling long distance to fetch water.

The Administraor of Adi-Maelel, Mr. Kiflai Yemane, said that the local inhabitants would obtain potable water and that there are plans to construct a health station and an elementary school.
