Micro-dam constructed in Fele-Darib Administrative area

Reports indicated that a micro-dam has been constructed in Fele-Dar’b administrative area, Hamelmalo sub-zone, at a cost of 6.4 million Nakfa. Keren, 22 October 2011- Reports indicated that a micro-dam has been constructed in Fele-Dar’b administrative area, Hamelmalo sub-zone, at a cost of 6.4 million Nakfa.

According to the local inhabitants, the micro-dam has impounded enough water and that they are now able to overcome previous shortage of water.

They also indicated that the micro-dam will contribute in expanding gardening activities and irrigation system in the region.

Musha micro-dam has a capacity of cultivating 30- hectares of land, in the area.
