Ministry introduces new instruments of high definition to upgrade television broadcasting service

In continuation of its efforts to upgrade television broadcasting service the Ministry of Information has introduced new instruments of high definition, namely LAN Linear Editing, according to Eng. Daniel Kiflom, head of the Ministry’s technical unit.

Asmara, 22 October 2011- In continuation of its efforts to upgrade television broadcasting service the Ministry of Information has introduced new instruments of high definition, namely LAN Linear Editing, according to Eng. Daniel Kiflom, head of the Ministry’s technical unit.

He further indicated that TELUS High Definition will be applied as of the year 2012 which would make vital contribution in upgrading television broadcasting service.

Eng. Daniel further pointed out that there exists the necessary skilled manpower in the Ministry for managing these new editing system equipments that would upgrade ERI-TV broadcasting service to higher level.
