Dahlak Brick and Block Factory in Massaw preparing to supply products to the market

Dahlak Brick and Block Factory in Massawa town is making preparations to supply its products to the market, according to Mr. Asmerom Woldeab, the manager.

Massaw, 26 October 2011 –Dahlak Brick and Block Factory in Massawa town is making preparations to supply its products to the market, according to Mr. Asmerom Woldeab, the manager.

He said that the modern factory constructed at a cost of over 10 million Nakfa is one of the best of its kind with a capacity of manufacturing more than 8,000 bricks and blocks of various shape and color a day.

Moreover, the manager explained that on top of its quality and competiveness, the product of the factory would be distributed at fair price, and that the factory is striving to meet local demand beyond the export target.  Mr. Asmerom added that efforts would be made to popularize the products of the factory abroad. He further expressed conviction that it would begin operation by early 2012.

Dahlak Brick and Block Factory is owned by two Eritrean nationals living in the UK, i.e. Mr. Mohamedbirhan Abdelhafiz and Mr. Tedros Miela.
