Massawa, 1 November 2011-  The satisfactory outcome registered in  the participation of female students is the outcome of awareness raising endeavours of parents, stated the director of Semhar Secondary School, Mr. Asmerom Tiku’e.

He explained that the participation of female students has increased by 17% from that of previous years, and this is the result of the close relations between parents and teachers.

Mr. Asmerom also indicated that as part of efforts to enhance the awareness and knowledge of the students, chemistry, biology and computer laboratories have opened in the school.
