A number of projects in Southern region implemented on time, says Mr. Mustefa Nur-Hussein

A number of projects in the Southern region aimed at improving the living standard of the inhabitants and ensure food security have been completed on time, thanks to integrated efforts, disclosed the regional Administrator, Mr. Mustefa Nur-Hussien.
Mendefera, 5 November 2011- A number of projects in the Southern region aimed at improving the living standard of the inhabitants and ensure food security have been completed on time, thanks to integrated efforts, disclosed the regional Administrator, Mr. Mustefa Nur-Hussien.

During an inspection tour he conducted in Tsorona sub-zone, including that of observing the construction of residential houses around Meheradchele Administrative area, the Administrator said that the implementation of the projects on time is quite encouraging, and commended the integrated efforts made to this end.

The Administrator of Tsorona sub-zone, Mr. Tesfamariam Teame, said on his part that the role of village Administrators is vital for the success of development programs there. He further indicated that the implemented projects have enabled the inhabitants get the desired social service.

Furthermore, he pointed out that some of the projects under implementation include residential houses for citizens displaced citizens during the TPLF regime’s war of aggression, as well as the construction of school along with residential facilities for teachers. He also called on the inhabitants to promote the renovation of the Meshal Akran- Haddish Adi -Tsorna road.
