Mai-Gume Elementary and Junior School begins rendering service

The new school built in Geza Keren Administrative area, Adi-Quala sub-zone, has begun rendering service, reports indicated. Adi-Quala, 8 November 2011- The new school built in Geza Keren Administrative area, Adi-Quala sub-zone, has begun rendering service, reports indicated.

Mr. Berhane Ogbai, director of the school, said that previously students were attending classes in iron-corrugated places besides travelling long distance. Initiatives taken to solve such problems as part of the Government’s policy to improve the living conditions in the areas are registering satisfactory outcome, reports added.

Mai-Gume Elementary and Junior School is equipped with 15 classrooms, 5 offices, a library, store, that about 1,219 are currently enrolled in it.
