Sawa, 8 November 2011- Peer education plays vital role in developing confidence and strengthening student participation in school, stated students and teachers of Warsay-Yikealo Secondary School in Sawa.
According to reports, peer education being practiced in the school have borne fruitful outcome since it enables students to improve their academic performances through concentrating in their studies.
The coordinator of peer education in the school, Mr. Kibreab Gebreselasie, said that the program was first launched 5 years ago, that with the annual assessment, the scheme is widely practiced on the part of students.
The students themselves positively assessed the significant role of the program in the teaching-learning program, and called for its application in all school as well.
