The participants of the public campaign told Erina that they are carrying out soil and water conservation activities, in addition to building terraces. EDF members on their part said that they are striving to put under cultivation vast agricultural areas, the contribution of which in ensuring food supply is not to be viewed lightly.
Satisfactory agriculture output has been harvested on crops plantation covering more than 1,500 hectares in Hamelmalo sub-zone this year, reports indicated.
