Beekeepers in Laaitien administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, said that they would step up efforts for higher honey production, and thereby meet public demand. Ginda, 14 November 2011 – Beekeepers in Laaitien administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, said that they would step up efforts for higher honey production, and thereby meet public demand.

Pointing out the advantage of bee breeding in ensuring food security beyond improving their living standard, they emphasized the need for exerting utmost efforts and patience to increase production. They further explained the positive outcome of the training organized in boosting their products and introducing modern bee hives.

The Administrator of Laaitien, Mr. Mohammed Abdalla, stated that the area is comfortable for bee breeding and commended the initiative of youths engaged in beekeeping.
