Preparations underway in preventing accident caused casualties

The Ministry of Health is doing its level best in implementing pre-caution programs regarding accident caused casualties, stated Dr. Michael Gebrehewiot from the Ministry.

Keren, 17 November 2011- The Ministry of Health is doing its level best in implementing pre-caution programs regarding accident caused casualties, stated Dr. Michael Gebrehewiot from the Ministry.

Speaking at an educational workshop in Keren town in which members and heads of health institutions took part, Dr, Michael said that priority is given to first-aid assistance. He also explained that in addition to the assistance provided during accident to save life, due preparations are needed to overcome short comings.

Dr. Michael further stressed indicated the need for information exchange mechanism during accidents, and called on health institutions to give training to raise people’s awareness.
