Factories in Adi-Guadad playing significant role in meeting local market demand

The foam, pasta and metal and woodwork factories in Adi-Guadad administrative area, Central region, are playing significant role in meeting local market demand, stated managers of the respective factories.

Adi-Guadad, 18 November 2011 – The foam, pasta and metal and woodwork factories in Adi-Guadad administrative area, Central region, are playing significant role in meeting local market demand, stated managers of the respective factories.

They told Erina that they are equipped with modern equipments thanks to government’s assistance, and have created job opportunity for a number of citizens.

Mr. Abraham Kahsai, manager of Pasta Santafamilia Factory, pointed out that there exist favorable environment for investment, and that the factory produces 100 quintals of different shapes of macaroni and other varieties of pasta.

Similarly, Mr. Michael Gebretatios, manager of Kokob Foam Factory, explained that the factory’s products are competitive, and that it would export its product in the near future.

In the same vein, Mr. Mussie Ogbalidet, manager of Karavel Metal and Woodwork Factory, said that it gives training to youths from Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare, and that it has created job opportunity for more than 80 nationals.
