Orotta Medical School making vital contribution in producing skilled man power

At an assessment meeting conducted in Asmara on November 18, it was disclosed that the 48 students enrolled in Orotta School of General Medicine and Dentistry have registered satisfactory outcome. An evaluation conducted by professionals from the University of Al Jazeera reached such conclusion, reports indicated. The Dean of Orotta School of General Medicine and Dentistry, Prof. Andemariam Geberemichael, explained that the evaluation task covered five different fields, i.e. surgery, Internal Medicine , Pediatrics, Community Medicine, and Gynecology and that of Obstetrician.

Prof. Andemariam further outlined the significance the evaluation. Likewise, Prof. Seid Mustafa Mohammed, Internist, said that the team witnessed the progress made by the students of Orotta School of Medicine in all field of study.

A senior Kidney transplant expert, Prof. Mustafa Omar Mensur, equally pointed out that the capability of the students was beyond his expectation, and landed Eritrea’s potential to train skilled manpower on the basis of internal capacity.

Likewise, Associate Professor of Surgery, Dr. Tekesete Fikadu, said that the ability the capacity of training skilled manpower in the country indicates that gratifying outcome would be registered in the years ahead.
