Godaif Community Hospital is rendering efficient eye treatment, according to Dr. Netsereab Gebremichael from the hospital.
Asmara, 21 November 2011 – Godaif Community Hospital is rendering efficient eye treatment, according to Dr. Netsereab Gebremichael from the hospital.
He said that it has been rendering eye treatment as of 2009 and begun performing cataract and other minor surgeries from August 2011. So far, successful surgery has been carried out to 170 nationals, and that surgery is performed to 30 patients three days a week, Dr. Netsereab added.
Indicating that there exist four eye surgery specialists and sufficient equipment, he stated that public awareness regarding health service has reached satisfactory stage and reminded members of the public to avoid harmful practices that could lead to eye blindness.
