Number of bank clients in Anseba region on the rise

The number of bank clients in Anseba region is on the rise as a result of the enhanced awareness of the general public, stated Mr. Estifanos Abraha, head of the branch office of the Housing and Commercial Bank in the region.

Keren, 21 November 2011 –The number of bank clients in Anseba region is on the rise as a result of the enhanced awareness of the general public, stated Mr. Estifanos Abraha, head of the branch office of the Housing and Commercial Bank in the region.

He explained that the Bank has registered growth of 5 to 6% over the past 3 years, and that of savings by 11% thanks to the development of saving culture on the part of the public.

Mr. Estifanos further indicated that it has introduced modern equipments and is presently rendering efficient service to clients. He also called on clients to clearly indicate the name and address of senders and receivers.

The Housing and Commercial Bank branch in Anseba region opened a branch office in Keren in the year 1999.
