Enhanced students’ awareness regarding traffic law in reducing accidents underscored

At a seminar he conducted in Massawa to secondary school students, the Commander of Traffic Police in the Northern Red Sea region, Maj. Teklebirhan Yohannes, underlined the significance of enhancing students’ awareness regarding traffic law in reducing accidents.  Massawa, 23 November 2011 – At a seminar he conducted in Massawa to secondary school students, the Commander of Traffic Police in the Northern Red Sea region, Maj. Teklebirhan Yohannes, underlined the significance of enhancing students’ awareness regarding traffic law in reducing accidents. 

He also emphasized the need to step up efforts to bequeath the Eritrean people’s values and ethics to the young generation.

Pointing out that most traffic accidents occur due to negligence, Maj. Teklebirhan said that efforts are underway to raise students’ awareness regarding traffic law in view of the fact that they are prime victims of such incidents.

The participants of the seminar voiced readiness to collaborate with the traffic police so as to reduce accidents.
