Haikota sub-zone: Community Hospital under construction

A Community Hospital at a cost of over 70 million Nakfa is under construction in Haikota semi-urban center, stated the Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Hamed Yusuf. Haykota, 24 November 2011- A Community Hospital at a cost of over 70 million Nakfa is under construction in Haikota semi-urban center, stated the Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Hamed Yusuf.

He indicated that previously three health stations and one health center were providing services in the sub-zone, but with the growing number of population additional health institutions were need so as to provide satisfactory service.

He explained that the hospital under construction would include operating room, pharmacy, bedrooms, radiological unit and laboratory, among others. The construction of the Community Hospital is expected to be finalized 2012, he added.
