Asmara Tannery Factory exerting vigorous efforts to boost production

Asmara Tannery Factory is doing its level best to boost production, according to the head of administration in the Factory, Ms. Elsa Habte.

Asmara, 27 November 2011- Asmara Tannery Factory is doing its level best to boost production, according to the head of administration in the Factory, Ms. Elsa Habte.

She explained that the factory strives to satisfy both domestic and international demand, and that the market demand for its products has increased.  Ms. Elsa also referred to shortage of hides supply to satisfy market demand, and further indicated that the main reason for such shortage is lack of judicious utilization of hides. She called on concerned parties in general and the Ministry of Agriculture Ministry in particular to train and advice individuals in judicious utilization of the resource.

Asmara Tannery factory was established in 1961, and has a total of 120 employees.
